Apparently it is a Bad Idea to work on the Good Night sequel after sunset. Because the trouble with tapping into your childhood fears to write creepy fic? You end up scaring the crap out of yourself. Now I'm all twitchy and I can't fall asleep.

Also, every time my dog Jack moves under the bed in his sleep I think I'm about to be devoured by under-the-bed-shadow-monsters. Shadow monsters that make adorable little dreaming puppy noises. And drool on my shoes.
