I quite like what we see of Jim on the show - the actor did an amazing job with the little screen time he had - but we never see him when he isn't performing for Sherlock. I didn't really go into this fic intending to expand on his character (as my focus was so much more on Molly) but I think it sort of happened nonetheless, as a side effect of everything else.
