I know I am never around these days, but I have a very, very important question to ask:
Where's the good Merlin fic, people? WHERE IS IT?
(In case you are wondering, I ship everyone/everyone. It is my OTP.)
ALSO: In Plain Sight is my new Best Show Ever, Slings & Arrows made me love Shakespeare again, and Leverage and Burn Notice and Star Trek and Harry Potter (AGAIN) and my head is so full of fannishness it may explode. So if anyone knows of any Mary/Marshall, Parker/Hardison, or Lupin/Tonks that they would like to share, please let me know. I miss fan fiction.
ALSO ALSO: If there are any Leverage fans out there, they're filming in Portland right now, just a few blocks from my home sweet home, Borders Books and Music. The actor who plays Hardison came in to buy a book the other day, and I gaped at him open mouthed in a way that was at once adorable and vaguely disturbing. I wasn't on the clock yet, so I didn't actually have a legitimate reason to stalk him while he was in the store. After he left, I went up to my coworker, explained the infatuated expression on my face, and asked what he'd bought.
"Wuthering Heights," my coworker answered. "He seemed pretty excited about it."
I swooned, incoherently.
"No, I'm lying," he said. "It was a get rich quick book. And I saw him break the spine before he left."
I work with mean people.
