This works out well, because obviously I'm only writing this piece of vampire ridiculousness because of the current then_theres_us challenge, because you guys were all, VAMPIRE AU! and I was all, NOOOO I CANNOT RESIST HELP ME GOD.
It was very dramatic.
Anyway, I am trying to keep it short enough that I will have some actual hope of finishing before the deadline. We will call it a belated birthday fic, yes?

Actually, I'm sort of hoping vamp!fic will help shake me out of my current writing funk so I can make some headway on the magic AU. Then once I do that, I can work on Anatomist, and once I do that I can do Tomorrow is a Long Time, and then once I do that I can die of old age. Aha.
