As you see, I am the random word folderol. I have mixed feelings about this.
Pro: Science has proven that folderol is the third best word in the English language.
Con: I will now have that fairy godmother song from Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella stuck in my head forever.

(Note: This is from Julie Andrew's badass TV special, which was filmed live in 1957. You may also be familiar with Lesley Ann Warren's 1965 version, and that one with Brandy and Whitney freakin' Huston in 1997. I own all three on DVD, because I am a nerd.)
(Also note: I now have a Tangled mood theme. I am awesome.)
ETA: Um. This is a video I just found of Mama Cass and Julie Andrews singing a Simon and Garfunkel medley on TV in 1974. It is basically everything I have ever loved in one grainy youtube video. I think I just found religion.
awe man. i wanted folderol but all i got was agenda, whatever that even means.
in pete's world, rose makes the doctor memorize this song for future reference for all the trouble it's gotten them into in the past.

And I have been nursing a devastating crush on Julie Andrews since birth, so thanks for the videos (although I already have a religion of my own in terms of badass female duets: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Skth17Ky-HA )

Also, I love that Rodgers & Hammerstein's "Cinderella." I grew up on the Lesley Ann Warren version, I admit, and I thought "Ten Minutes Ago" was the PINNACLE OF ROMANTIC MUSIC.

No, no - that's "Doooo I love you because you're beauuuutiful, or are you BEAUtiful because I loooove yoooooou?"
(That's more amusing when you can hear me singing it in my hammy charming prince voice. Which I am, right now.)
