Was watching Fourth Doctor episode The Armageddon Factor (which thus far is rather brilliant), when I came to this short exchange and nearly had a fit:


Doctor: Perhaps the door's booby trapped.

Romana I: (grabbing his hand) Doctor!

Doctor: What?

Romana I: Remember what we were saying about the Black Guardian?

Doctor: Yes? (pause) Oh. Will you come into my parlor, said the spider to the fly?

Romana I: Very apt.

If the Master starts quoting Tennyson in The Claws of Axos, I very well may die.
