Also: I adore Martha, so this didn't really bother me, but if anyone ever calls Rose a Mary Sue again I am going to laugh myself sick. Because COME ON. You just don't get any more beautifulmagicalspecial than our dear Dr. Jones on Torchwood. I'm not complaining - just pointing out the obvious.

Adam was surprisingly painful to watch, despite the appearance of Wee Blythe. There were certainly things I liked, but the execution was remarkably poor. And you have to wonder: what's the point of putting us through all that if, in the end, it changes absolutely nothing? I need well thought out character development, people. I need it like I need oxygen to breathe, and Torchwood? Sometimes you just be stiflin' me.

I giggled like a crazy person throughout the entirety of Reset. It's really the ensemble aspect to the show that makes Torchwood worth it for me (well, the ensemble and the crack), so I loved all the time spent in the Hub as the gang dorked it up for Martha.

And seriously, folks: is there anyone in the universe cooler than Ianto?

I don't think so.
